Technological disruption is transforming markets and societies across Africa in ways that would not have been possible ten years ago. This opens up
huge and still largely untapped commercial potential opportunities for domestic and international businesses as well as social transformation
opportunities. Digitalization has become one of the most dynamic and innovative economic and social forms and core growth enablers of the national
economy, supporting public health, education and industrial management. Disruptive innovation is creating new target markets and unprecedented
consumer choice. Capitalizing on these potential opportunities demands a complete rethink of customer engagement and business development
strategies. So how is/can Africa ride the wave of digital revolution and disruption for sustainability?

Against this backdrop, the Conference Organising Committee 2024 of the East African University invites researchers, scholars, academics and policy
makers from diverse backgrounds and disciplines in universities, research institutions, government departments and the industry to submit their
abstracts and full papers for consideration for presentation. The complete research papers should be consistent with the theme and subthemes of the
conference. The conference mode will be hybrid blending both online and physical participation.
