From the Desk of the Academic Registrar

It is my singular pleasure to wish you a cheerful and warm welcome to TEAU, the wellspring of knowledge and character. We are very excited to be part of this amazing academic journey that you have embarked on. Our office is responsible for maintaining academic records for all students who have ever attended The East African University. We are also responsible for registration, course management, classroom scheduling, grade posting, Student Evaluation, graduation & certification, degree/diploma audits, credit transfer evaluation, student data reporting and research, fee assessment among other responsibilities. To accomplish this, we work closely with faculty, staff, and students. We also work closely with other government agencies, such as, the Commission for University Education and the Ministry of Education.
