A crucial section of the library. Library patrons would hardly come in contact with section. Its primary goal is building the collection of the library. There are three sub-sections here. These are acquisition, classification, cataloguing, and bindery
Acquisition: this sub-section is responsible for selecting and purchasing of library items (books and non-book materials)
Classification and cataloguing: this sub-section is responsible for grouping related materials together and data entry into the library catalogue. The main purpose of doing so is to facilitate ease of access and retrieval of information materials in the library shelves.
Bindery: this subsection is responsible for repair of library books and other information items because items get deteriorated with time as they are used. Binding enhances life of materials. Other services offered here include binding of these for students and staff.
The Library remains closed on Sundays and Public Holidays.
