Objectives of the School

The School of Business strives to live up to the following objectives:

  • To provide a quality curriculum at the undergraduate and graduate levels that facilitates students' development of creative and critical thinking.
  • To provide an understanding of the philosophical, historical, sociological, political, psychological, and economic foundations of business and management studies.
  • To provide an understanding of the methods, theoretical bases, purposes, possibilities, limitations, and ethical dimensions of research and evaluation in business and management and related fields, and practical experience in applying this understanding.
  • To promote collaborative inquiry within the school, other schools and departments in the university and the surrounding community.
